Alice Toms is a Bioinformatics PhD student in the Genomic Sciences Graduate Program and she is conducting research under the direction of Dr. Carbone. Her background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Analytics. She grew up in California and hails from both San Diego and the Bay Area (mainly San Francisco and Silicon Valley).
