Megan is a South Carolina native and a recent graduate of Coker College where she worked in a fungal genomics lab. She is a new PhD student in the department of Plant Pathology at NCSU. She is co-majoring in Plant Pathology and Crop Science. Her research has a strong emphasis in molecular biology as well as extension. Currently, she is working on a project that will help growers develop better strategies for preventing mycotoxin contamination in corn fields.
