Trent Monacell

James "Trent" Monacell received his B.S in Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He started graduate school at North Carolina State University in 2008. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. He works with the Carbone lab studying the genomics of filamentous fungi, in particular heterokaryosis and heterokaryon compatibility in Aspergillus section flavi.
